Lindsey Skelton Perez's wedding

My sweet friend Lindsey Skelton got married on June 20th! Congrats girl! I am going to miss you more than you know...Jonas better hurry with school so you can get back to ATL!!! The weeks leading up to the wedding and the wedding weekend were so much fun...so much laughter and so many tears! Thanks for the memories!!!! It was an honor to stand with you!

Thankful

I will be the first to admit that everything in my life often stands in the way of me "being still." I have never been good at reflecting or even stopping long enough to hear God's still small voice trying to speak to me through the craziness that I call my life. I am so thankful for the life that God has given me...full of blessings and complete happiness, and yet I fail to thank Him as much as I should. I am taking this time to just stop and say thank you. I am who I am and where I am because of God's grace and mercy. I deserve nothing, especially His love and forgiveness, and yet each morning I wake up to a new fresh annointing that is ready to embrace me. Why? Because He is God. And I am thankful...

5 months old...part 2

CRAZY FACE!!!!!! She was "talking."

Here are a couple of more from today! Look at that CRAZY face that she made! I got her while she was "talking" and this is how it came out! I laughed out loud when I saw it! She was in NO mood for pictures...just playtime!!!

Someone if 5 month old.... YAY! We tried to take some pictures, but soon, she was rolling over in the chair and trying to eat her stuffed animal! She then started "talking" to Mommy...also known as YELLING! HA! She was not in the mood to have her picture taken today! Oh well, we got a couple of good ones...She just wanted to play, and I don't blame her!!!

Addie Anne usually looks just like this by the time we get back from the pool! She is EXHAUSTED!!!! Too much of a good thing...

Pool time

Addie Anne LOVES spending time at the pool! We take her to the pool at least a couple of times a week! Our neighborhood has a little baby pool that she can play in, with a little help from her parents! :) He skin is soooo white, so we always put her in a cute little hat so she won't get any sun on her! This past week, she sat in her Daddy's lap for about an hour playing in the pool...her favorite thing to do it DRINK the water! YUMMY!!! She is always VERY tired after playing at the pool and usually goes RIGHT to sleep!!!

Addie's new sleeping position

As I type this, Addie Anne is fast asleep! I just wanted you all to see her sweet new sleeping position...with her "rump" straight in the air...She is SOOO cute!!!!

My Addie Anne

Addie Anne is the reason why I wake up each morning! Scott and I will sneak into her room and almost fight to be the first one that she sees! She will look up at us and give us the biggest smile that melts our hearts each and every time! I am trying to cherish every moment that the Lord has given me with her! She grows and changes daily, and we are trying to capture every new change and adventure in our memories! She is now smiling all the time, making noises...which sound a little like the German language, rolling over everywhere, and just enjoying being loved! She LOVES her mommy and daddy, and often cries when she realizes that we are gone or she cannot see us! It is the best thing in the world to feel loved by someone this special! She is sleeping 9-10 hours each night and wakes up STARVING! HAHA! At 5 months, She is about 27 inches long and 16 lbs 8oz~! Mommy makes sure that she has a different outfit on each day, and she ALWAYS has a bow in her hair! Speaking of her hair, it is still brown, but is getting lighter as the summer goes on! She still has her cute little "rat's tail" in the back, but it is slowly going away as her hair grows!

Addie Anne LOVES to read books...or should I say, look at the pictures! She laughs as I read and tracks my finger as I point out certain things about the book! She also loved playing on the floor where she can ROLL everywhere! She often gets frustrated when she gets stuck and will make this grunting noise as if she is saying "HELP ME!"

She is the sunshine in my life! She is truly fearfully and wonderfully made!

3rd Anniversary

Scott and I have been married for three years! Happy Anniversary!!!

Cecilia Rose

My cousin, Cecilia Rose, was born on May 22nd, 2009. Isn't she pretty? I loved meeting her, and I even screamed in her ears! I did not mean to scare her, I was just SOOOO excited to see her!!!

Father's Day 2009

This was Daddy's very first Father's Day and I wanted to make something very special for him! I decided to do my very first finger paint! With Mommy's help, I created a beautiful picture for Daddy and Grandpa! Honestly, I did not like finger painting very much at all...I screamed! I did not like getting all messy, but in the end ,it was worth it! Happy Father's Day!!!

I love spending time with my family! This summer, I have trarveled to Cleveland to see Uncle Jared, Aunt Clara, and Uncle Bob. I have also traveled to see my Aunt Jessica!!!

My first trip to the pool

On June 1st, Addie Anne went to the pool for the very FIRST time and loved it! It took her a minute or two to get used to the cold water, but she enjoyed every minute of it once she "warmed up" to it!

Addie Anne LOVES spending time with her "men!" ...Her wonderful cousins Jabob Willoughby and Cohen Farmer! Her favorite thing to do with them is to lay out in her "boat" while the boys play in the pool!

Addie Anne update- June

Well, it's been a while since I was last on here! Addie Anne is not almost 5 months old and as cute as can be! In my opinion, she is a PERFECT little baby! She started sleeping through the night at 9 weeks and has not looked back since. I absolutely LOVE spending time with her, especially now since she has begun laughing out loud and always has a huge smile for her mommy and daddy! Just this past month, she is beginning to recognize strangers and will often let out this heart breaking cry if she does not know you! It breaks my heart and cracks me up all at the same time! She is truly my angel!
